Fees & Funding

Fees

Assessments: Begin a $200 (excluding report)

Assessments may vary in price depending on the complexity of the child's needs. Assessments are important as they help to gain a full picture of your child and their strengths and weaknesses. Assessments typically take an hour and can be a mixture of formal assessments ( standardised) and observations, parental reports and play based activities which are aimed to measure your child's ability for their age.

Therapy: Sessions are customised to your child based on their specific needs. They include parent training of therapy strategies and detailed home practice instructions and handouts if required. Therapy sessions are typically 45 or 30 minutes, depending on the the child and the treatment required.

What else does your therapy fee encompass:

  • The time spent providing therapy to your child

  • Scoring and analysis of assessment results

  • Preparing therapy goals and activities prior to your sessions

  • Creating and printing therapy materials ( for home practice)

  • Printing applicable handouts

  • Administrative costs including contact with other health professionals as required

  • Record keeping of you child's therapy progress following each session.
